CareMeda is a software solutions and services company that leverages digital technology to enable connected and comprehensive care. Our connected care platform enables remote health monitoring, telemedicine, seamless communication and collaborative care for patients and residents, families, doctors and care teams.

What is Remote Patient Monitoring?

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is the utilization of technology such as health watches and smart scales, as well as analytical software, to monitor healthcare parameters for patients and residents outside of a normal clinical setting, such as a doctor’s office, hospital or senior care communities. RPM gives increased healthcare access from remote locations like a patient’s home or a Senior Living Community.

Our easy to use mobile application allows communication and collaboration among care providers, residents and their families. Families can access up to date information on the health and wellness of their loved ones. Clinical data, as well as summaries of daily activities, can be viewed in one touch.

Families can conveniently video chat with their loved ones from their cell phones or tablets.

How do I set up my device?

How do I do a video chat?

Our easy to use Video Chat software allows for residents to connect with family and friends, as well as complete virtual physician visits from the convenience of their own rooms. Our easy-to-use platform can be used on any phone or tablet.

Can I return my device?

Personalized Tablet

Residents are given a pre-configured tablet that serves as the hub for retrieving the health data from the wearable/technology being used.

The tablet can be used for virtual clinical visits with doctors and personal video chats with family. Multi-participant call feature allows for collaborative communication with doctors and families.

Health Watch

Residents are provided a health watch for monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation, as well as sleeping and activity steps. The vital signs and health data is uploaded to the personalized tablet.

Smart Scale

Residents are provided a smart scale for measuring weight, BMI, body fat percentage and visceral fat.

Battery and Charging

How do I recharge the devices?

Each resident will be provided a charging device with their personalized tablet. The multi-port USB charging station can be easily plugged into any wall plug. The multi-port charger allows for the tablet and watch to be charged at the same time.

Each tablet should be charged at the end of each day for approximately 2 hours or charged overnight.

Each health watch should be charged every 5-7 days. The health watch will show a “low battery” notification on the main screen. The health watch can be charged using the same multi-port charger used for the tablet.
